We are looking for a Project Services Coordinator to assist the Director, Project Services in the execution of our two flagship projects: the Matawinie mine and the Bécancour battery materials plant.

YOUR MISSION

Under the supervision of the Director of Project Services, the Coordinator will be part of a team of professionals responsible for providing cost control, planning and document management services to the two proprietary teams responsible for the management and execution of NMG’s flagship projects. Among other things, they will be able to:

  • Develop processes and procedures for document control, planning, project management and quality for the project execution phase;

  • Collaborate in the implementation, development and updating of management systems for different types of documents;

  • Develop and implement standardized documents and reporting formats for cost control and planning, to ensure consistency and clarity of communications for all projects;

  • Design project monitoring reports, as well as dashboards presenting key performance indicators;

  • Prepare and consolidate information on project progress in order to disseminate presentations, statistics, reports or other documentation to the management team, as well as to various stakeholders;

  • Ensure at the end of each main stage of the project, the availability of a complete and validated final version of the project documentation;

  • Ensure the continuous updating of the documentation of project management processes, procedures, templates and guidelines to ensure their relevance and compliance;

  • Train the various stakeholders and be the resource person for all questions related to document management;

  • Perform various analyses and work closely with financial controllers throughout the project lifecycle;

  • Implement internal audits to verify the effectiveness of processes, identify areas for improvement and promote the development of plans to strengthen these changes;

  • Provide full administrative support to the team, including some tasks in the ERP system and documents with our partners.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • University degree in engineering, business administration or a certificate in project management;

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project control for engineering and construction projects of major projects in the mining, metallurgical or complex process sector;

  • Ability to innovate to create processes and tools for communicating the progress and progress of projects;

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and implement sustainable solutions in a rapidly growing organizational context;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure;

  • Strong sense of organization, time management and priorities;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;

  • Attention to detail and good ability to positively influence change;

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; planning tools (e.g. Primavera or MS-Project) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems;

  • Advanced knowledge of a document management system (e.g. Aconex, SharePoint);

  • Bilingualism (oral and written) is a strong asset.
