We are looking for an Electrical Technician to help our operation team solve process problems as well as carry out repairs, calibrate instruments, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and control equipment for our demonstration plant in Saint-Michel-des-Saints.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, your primary mission will be to support the automation of the demonstration plant in Saint-Michel-des-Saints.

  • Perform repairs on all equipment at the plant.

  • Install, repair, modify, calibrate and maintain all types of electrical and instrumentation equipment such as pH transmitters, automatic valves, variable speed drives, starters, etc.

  • Write/modify programs for DCS and PLC systems.

  • Oversee the operation of the control network (e.g. EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus).

  • Update technical drawings.

  • Perform inspections and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Monitor executed work.

  • Follow and apply work procedures and health and safety protocols.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in industrial electronics or Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in electromechanics or the equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a plant or industrial environment or related field.

  • Planning, collaboration and coordination skills.

  • Fluency in spoken and written French; English is an asset.

  • C licence outside construction (asset).

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD an asset.
