We are looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Supervisor to deploy and continuously improve our operational systems and associated network infrastructure.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the IT/OT Manager, the Operational Technologies (OT) Supervisor will be responsible for deploying and continuously improving the hardware and software systems and network infrastructure for our Operational Technologies. You will also ensure that this environment is safe, effective, and adapted to the company’s needs. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing, testing and implementing OT system contingency plans to provide reliable and uninterrupted service.

  • Supervise the OT team.
  • Participate in construction projects to validate, supervise and standardize technological options.
  • Participate in construction projects by providing OT deliverables that adhere to the required scope, schedule, budget and costs.
  • Define selection criteria and OT standards for NMG (PLC, DCS, field instruments, operator interface design, communication protocols, control logic, data historian, etc.).
  • Analyze technological infrastructure (OT) needs and priorities to execute the organization’s projects.
  • Help design and develop control centres and technological tools required to effectively operate the plants.
  • Help develop and implement the strategy to integrate OT systems and data with IT systems (ERP, DCS, production, inventory, maintenance).
  • Implement, optimize and manage the methodologies, processes and procedures for the production launch of systems or equipment.
  • Analyze TO infrastructure operations and make recommendations to continuously improve service quality.
  • Draft and authorize work plans; generate and analyze breakdown reports; plan and carry out post-mortem action plans.
  • Prepare training materials for operators.
  • Uphold best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Work closely with the IT Infrastructure manager and the different engineering project managers.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or automation)
  • 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and adaptability
  • Project management experience
  • Experience implementing DCS (distributed systems)
  • Ability to work effectively with internal clients, engineering firms and all types of stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Ability to foster teamwork, continuous improvement and collaboration

Assets

  • Knowledge of PLC: Allen-Bradley, Schneider Quantum, etc.
  • Knowledge of Cisco, configuration of network equipment and architecture
  • Knowledge of user interfaces
  • Knowledge of data historians
