We are looking for a Laboratory Technician for our plant in Saint-Michel-des-Saints.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician operates laboratory equipment and instruments, keeps them in good working order, and systematically reports any irregularities or malfunctions. You will actively participate in day-to-day activities by performing necessary tests and working with the other members of the laboratory team.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Collect data and document test results.
  • Prepare materials, instruments and solutions required for analyses or experiments.
  • Apply established procedures and suggest improvements to achieve a clean and safe work environment that is focused on testing quality.
  • Participate in the research, testing and development of new processes or products.
  • Verify the accuracy of certificates of analysis and ensure that the results are compliant with quality standards.
  • Produce reports and update safety data sheets.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • College diploma in analytical chemistry, minerallurgy or processes.
  • Relevant laboratory experience of 1 to 3 years.
  • Proficiency with the Office suite software.
  • Strong sense of ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
