Nouveau Monde announces the grant of stock options to directors, officers, employees and a consultant in accordance with the terms of the stock option plan of the Company.

Nouveau Monde has received approval for the listing of its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”). The Company expects its common shares will open for trading on the NYSE on May 24, 2021, under the symbol “NMG”.

Nouveau Monde has taken concrete steps to avoid, reduce and fully offset its Greenhouse Gas emissions by committing to a tailor-made Climate Action Plan. The Company is compensating its entire historic emissions, utilizing carbon credits in compliance with the CSA Clean Projects Registry, allowing it to confirm its “carbon-neutral status”.

Nouveau Monde has appointed Dr. Jürgen Köhler, a leading global industry expert and the former CEO of a world-leading advanced graphite materials company, to its Board of Directors.

Nouveau Monde Graphite has applied to list its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”), subject to the approval of the NYSE and the satisfaction of all applicable listing and regulatory requirements.

Nouveau Monde is implementing a consolidation of its outstanding common shares in connection with its previously announced evaluation of an additional listing on a U.S. stock exchange.

Nouveau Monde was included within the 2021 TSX Venture 50®, a list of the top 50 companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
